2025 Great Canadian Driving Games Challenge
Official Rules and Regulations
CONTEST PERIOD:
The Great Canadian Driving Games Challenge (the “Contest”) starts on March 14, 2025, at 12:00 A.M. Mountain Standard Time (MST) and ends on September 14, 2025, at 11:59 P.M. MST (the “Contest Period”). The Contest is being sponsored by Transport Canada and the Traffic Injury Research Foundation (the “Sponsors”) and operated by Medidas Digital Inc. (“Medidas”) and shall be governed by the Safe Roads Challenge Reward Program Terms and Conditions (the “Reward Terms”).
Note: No purchase is required to earn an entry into the Contest.
ELIGIBILITY:
The Contest is open to eligible and active Safe Roads Challenge mobile app (the “App”) account holders that have a valid license to drive an automobile in any Province or Territory of Canada (excluding the Province of Quebec) (the “Users”) and who meet the account criteria and hereby agree to be bound by these Rules, the Safe Roads Challenge Terms of Use (the “SRC Terms”) and the Reward Terms (the “SRC Reward Terms”) (hereby the “Participants”). Participants will be required to use a custom code (the “Join Code”) to join the Contest, claim Trips in the App as well as log into, and access, their Safe Roads Challenge Portal account in order to view entries and be eligible to participate. Medidas reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to limit the number of participants in the Contest at any time. This limitation may be applied based on factors including, but not limited to, operational capacity, fairness, or compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Medidas is not obligated to provide prior notice of such limitations.
ENTRIES:
Participants can earn one entry per day from 12:00 A.M. to 11:59 P.M. MST by successfully recording a daily average driver score (the “Score”) in the driving category identified (the “Challenge Type”) that meets the minimum required Score set within each designated period of time (the “Challenge Period”), as defined below in the Challenge and Prize Schedule (the “Challenges”). To earn a daily average Score, the participant must record trips in the Safe Roads Challenge app and claim all applicable Trips for each day as “Driver”. See below in the Challenge and Prize Schedule for details regarding the Challenge Type and minimum Score required in each Challenge Period to gain an entry. Entries earned will be displayed in the Safe Roads Challenge Portal along with other tools to help Participants monitor and improve their driving scores. There is no limit to the total number of participants and entries received during each Contest Period and is solely dependent on the number of eligible Scores successfully recorded by the Participants. Odds of winning a prize will vary depending on the number of entries earned during the Contest Period.

Prizes, other than the Grand Prize, will be awarded based on the Challenge and Prize Schedule below.

SELECTION OF WINNERS:
Winners will be randomly selected from all eligible Participant entries received for each team during each Challenge Period and will be notified through the App’s inbox and/or by email and/or by SMS. The appropriate sections found within the Reward Terms will govern selection of, and notification to, each Winner. If no entries are received during the Contest Period, prizes will only be awarded for each unique entry received. Proof of active driver’s license, identification and legal guardian consent for eligible winners under the legal age of minority in their province of residency may be required prior to award of prize.
