DECEMBER 1 – 31
In partnership with Peace Hills Insurance
Make Every Trip A Safe One This Holiday Season
Record your trips, drive safely, and help us spread holiday cheer in our communities! Every safe trip you take until December 31 is an entry to win and unlocks real donations to organizations doing meaningful work this season.
About the Safe Sleigh Giveaway
The Safe Sleigh Giveaway is back again! We’re excited to share our annual tradition of celebrating safer roads and giving back during the holiday season.
From December 1-31, every safe trip you record is one automatic entry to win festive prize packs. But this year isn’t just about giveaways. It’s about making sure everyone gets where they’re going safely, through icy roads, winter storms, and all the holiday festivities.
And because this season can be especially tough for many families, we’re doubling down on doing some good. We’re proudly supporting six incredible charities across the U.S. and Canada to help bring warmth, comfort, and resources to those who need it most.
$5 will be a gift card for you!
$5 will be directed to your choice of our selected charities
We want to inspire safe, mindful driving all month long. Whether you’re heading to work, running errands, or travelling for the holidays – every safe trip matters!
Every Safe Trip = One Entry
Entering to win in the Safe Sleigh Giveaway is simple! Each time you claim a safe driver trip in the Safe Roads Challenge app, you’ll earn an automatic entry into the weekly draw for a $10 prize pack.
Your safe driving helps us support local impact
This year, we’re proud to support six charities – three in the U.S. and three in Canada, with the support of our partners at Peace Hills Insurance – that are making a meaningful difference.
Users who win a prize pack during the Safe Sleigh Giveaway can direct their $5 donation to any of the following charities:
Canadian Charities:
The charity donations in Canada for 2025 are proudly funded by our partners at Peace Hills Insurance.
Canadian Parks and Wilderness Society (CPAWS)
Amount donated: $0
CPAWS is Canada’s only charity dedicated to the protection of public land, freshwater and ocean with a strong national and regional presence across the country. We are Canada’s leader in conservation with over 60 years of success based on our expertise, public education and advocacy, relationships and local knowledge.
We are credible, trusted, knowledge-based, nationally coordinated, collaborative organization, focused on conserving nature to respond to the dual crises of accelerated biodiversity loss and climate change.
Our vision is to see at least half of Canada’s land, freshwater and ocean permanently protected, to sustain nature and people for current and future generations.
Make-A-Wish Canada
Amount donated: $0
Make-A-Wish Canada creates life-changing wishes for children diagnosed with critical illnesses. Wishes Are Medicine – a vital part of a child’s treatment journey that helps restore strength, hope and resilience. Research shows that prescribed wishes can improve adherence to treatment, reduce emergency room visits, and deliver lasting health benefits.
Make-A-Wish Canada is part of the world’s leading children’s wish-granting organization, serving children in communities across Canada and in 50 countries worldwide. Over the past 40 years, Make-A-Wish Canada has granted more than 40,000 wishes, including 2,011 last year alone. Learn more at makeawish.ca.
Parachute
Amount donated: $0
Parachute is Canada’s national charity dedicated to injury prevention. We focus on the most prevalent causes of serious, unintentional injury, including those caused by motor vehicle collisions. We envision a Canada free of serious injuries, with all in Canada leading long lives to the fullest. We are leaders of Canada’s Vision Zero road safety movement, supporting jurisdictions across the country. We lead Canadian Youth Road Safety Week annually in October, run Canada’s Favourite Crossing Guard Contest to promote pedestrian safety, and have launched Snap for Change, an initiative to identify local road safety issues and encourage community members to advocate for change.
We’ll update the progress of all donations on December 17 and again on January 5. Check back to see the collective impact our community is making!
What makes this holiday initiative impactful?
Thanks to our incredible safe driving community, last year’s Safe Sleigh Giveaway was a huge success! Together, we raised $2,600 for our selected charities!

Roadway Safety Foundation
Amount donated: $0
The Roadway Safety Foundation is a nonprofit educational and charitable organization chartered in 1995 by the American Highway Users Alliance. Our mission is to reduce the frequency and severity of motor vehicle crashes, injuries, and fatalities through improvements to roadway systems and their environment.
Make-A-Wish America
Amount donated: $0
Make-A-Wish creates life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses, and we are on a quest to bring every eligible child’s wish to life, because a wish is an integral part of a child’s treatment journey.
Feeding America
