For business and sponsorship questions:
High school or post-secondary students with a learner permit or driver's license can register or join a school team. Open to drivers in the United States and Canada.
Parents, staff, or community members can join using the Supporter code for your State. Enter it in the app under Teams › Manage Teams › Enter Code.
Use the Register your school form. We'll set up your school's team and send its join code. In the meantime you can download the app and start driving.
Yes. The app and the challenge are completely free.
No. Safe Roads Challenge does not send or sell your personal information, location data, or individual driving data to anyone, including insurance companies.
Set location access to "Always", turn on Motion & Fitness (iOS)/Physical Activity (Android), and turn off battery optimization (Android) for the app so your trips are recorded.
No. The app uses minimal battery and data, and uses Wi-Fi instead of cellular when it's available.
