By registering for or attending this online educational webinar (the “Webinar”), you agree to the following Terms and Conditions (“Terms”). Please review them carefully. Your registration and participation indicate your acceptance of these Terms.

1. Eligibility and Registration

1.1. You must be at least 18 years old or have the consent of a parent or legal guardian to attend the Webinar.
1.2. You agree to provide accurate, complete, and current information during registration.
1.3. The Company reserves the right to deny access to any participant for any reason, including violation of these Terms or inappropriate conduct.

2. Webinar Access and Participation

2.1. The Webinar will be delivered through an online platform. You are responsible for ensuring that your internet connection and device meet the technical requirements.
2.2. Participation must be respectful and professional. Disruptive, abusive, or inappropriate behavior may result in immediate removal from the session.
2.3. The Company is not liable for technical difficulties experienced by attendees, including but not limited to connectivity issues or platform incompatibility.

3. Content Ownership and Usage

3.1. All materials, recordings, presentations, and resources provided during the Webinar (collectively, “Content”) are the property of Medidas Digital Inc. or its licensors.
3.2. You may not copy, record, reproduce, distribute, or publicly share the Content without prior written consent.
3.3. Limited access to Webinar materials may be provided for personal use only, as permitted by the Company.

4. Privacy and Data Collection

4.1. By registering, you consent to the collection and use of your personal information (e.g., name, email, attendance status) for the purpose of delivering the Webinar and relevant communications.
4.2. All personal data will be managed in accordance with Alberta’s Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA) and the Company’s Privacy Policy.
4.3. The Webinar may be recorded, and by participating, you consent to being included in the recording if your audio, video, name, or messages are shared during the session.

5. Code of Conduct

5.1. You agree not to:

  • Engage in harassment or discriminatory behavior;
  • Share offensive, inappropriate, or unlawful content;
  • Infringe on the intellectual property rights of others;
  • Interfere with the experience of other participants.

6. Cancellation and Changes

6.1. As this is a free event, no fees are charged and therefore no refunds apply.
6.2. The Company reserves the right to cancel, reschedule, or modify the Webinar content or platform at its discretion. Notice will be provided to registered participants as soon as reasonably possible.

7. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

7.1. The Webinar is provided for general educational purposes only and does not constitute legal, professional, or expert advice.
7.2. The Company makes no guarantees as to the accuracy, completeness, or applicability of the Content.
7.3. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Company shall not be liable for any damages, direct or indirect, arising out of your participation in or reliance on the Webinar.

8. Governing Law

8.1. These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the applicable federal laws of Canada.
8.2. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Alberta.

9. Changes to Terms

9.1. The Company may revise these Terms at any time without prior notice. The most current version will be posted or made available to you before the start of the Webinar.
9.2. Continued participation in the Webinar constitutes your agreement to any updated Terms.
